Readying the XTS

As each piece is ready, wipe its band with isopropyl alcohol.
Fitting
Hold the piece in position, backing on, with two short strips of painter's tape. Run a fingertip along the gasket: it should sit snug against the opening along its length. Check the ends against the photos. Peel a short length at the lower front end, press firmly, and work up and over the arch in short stages. Finish with a firm press, then fit another opening and compare.
Arrival and care
