Construction

Placing each piece
With only four pieces, sorting is quick: front and rear, checked against the photos. Hold each piece along its window top and compare it with the photos, then write its position on the liner. If two pieces look alike, compare their ends with the photos before deciding.
Preparing the frames
Check each frame top for old adhesive, wax build-up or chipped paint and deal with it. Wash and dry the sedan. Just before each piece goes on, clean its frame top with a wax-and-grease remover, then isopropyl alcohol.
Fitting the four
- Rest the Fusion piece on its frame with the liner still on.
- Mark both ends of the Fusion piece with painter's tape.
- Close the door slowly to check it clears.
- Peel an inch of liner, press that end onto its mark, then peel and press to the far end.
Repeat for the other three, comparing each with the last so the trim looks the same all around the car.
