Product Description
Trim Illusion Chrome Door Handle Covers for 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 & 9 more (DH226)
DH226 gives a 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 a chrome upgrade. Trim Illusion sells it as a door handle cover set. The same part covers more than one vehicle. Piece count is eight. Trim Illusion calls the design patented.
Visual impact
Handles are small, but there are several of them on every side. A uniform finish on every handle pulls the side view together. A chrome finish catches light from every angle. It gives lower trim levels a higher-trim look.

How it mounts
DH226 is snap-on with tape. The snap fit lines it up; the tape locks it down. No holes are needed. Construction is ABS plastic, so it will not rust.
Before you order
Keyhole: Driver side. It is listed for 4-door vehicles. Handle sensor note: No Smart Key.
The photos are the best way to confirm the shape. Unsure? Quality Automotive Trims answers at 877-752-3811. Treat it gently, as you would clear-coated paint.
Temperate weather helps adhesives set. Write down DH226 for your records.
There is no body shop visit involved. Package size: roughly 11.0 by 4.0 by 3.0 inches.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show. It is a quick win for the overall appearance.
It is aimed at drivers who like a personalized vehicle. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly.
Compared with painting, a cover is the quicker route. There is no paint booth involved.
Inspect each piece before installation day. Work from one side to the other in a consistent order. Clean up with a soft cloth at the end.
QAA ships free to the lower 48 states. Confirming the year and trim first saves time.
Plan a calm afternoon rather than a rushed half hour. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
Start by matching each piece to its position on the vehicle. Wipe off fingerprints when you are done.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. When in doubt, ask before you buy.

Installation tips: Door Handle Cover
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part over the factory piece to confirm it seats, then remove it.
- Peel the tape liner, line the part up, and press until it snaps into place.
- Press firmly along the taped areas.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
