Product Description
Trim Illusion Chrome Tailgate Handle Cover for 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 & 3 more (TG115)
TG115 gives a 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 a chrome upgrade. Trim Illusion sells it as a tailgate handle cover. The same part covers more than one vehicle. Trim Illusion packs two pieces in this set.
Shared fitment
Fitment covers 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2014-2020 Chevrolet Colorado, 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 and 2015-2019 GMC Canyon. Your exact year must be inside the range.
Appearance
It works as a standalone change or part of a full set. It fits in easily with other trim in the same finish. Chrome brings bright highlights back. It gives lower trim levels a higher-trim look.
Putting it on
TG115 is tape-on. No factory parts come off. A clean, dry, wax-free surface is the key step. ABS plastic is the material.

It keeps the factory parts in place. Call 877-752-3811 with your year, make, model and trim.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.
It goes through regular washing with the rest of the vehicle. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
Wrapping complex shapes takes practice. No sanding or primer is involved.
Accents work best when they repeat around the vehicle. It is an easy place to start.
Start by matching each piece to its position on the vehicle. Hold each part in place to confirm the shape lines up. Give it time before the first wash.
This suits owners who want a custom look without a shop visit. Expect the job to take less time than a car wash and wax. It is a visible upgrade for a modest effort.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Keep wax and polish off the edges where possible.
Lower-48 delivery is free on this item. Double-check fitment before checkout.
It is aimed at drivers who like a personalized vehicle. You do not need special skills to get a clean result. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
Test the fit before anything is pressed home. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
Aftermarket replacements often need cutting or drilling. There is no paint booth involved.
Trim upgrades are among the most popular exterior changes.

Installation tips: Tailgate Handle Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
