Add-ons for your vehicle
For a matched Chevrolet Tahoe, see SM6105BLK (door molding set, gloss black), WT6002BLK (window trim set, gloss black), ABS494 (grille overlay, chrome), DH310 (door handle cover, chrome), DH6315BLK (door handle cover, gloss black). Fitment differs by part, so verify each.
Design notes
Mirror caps take sun, bugs and parking-lot bumps. Covering them is a quick visual change. Chrome is the classic dress-up finish. It pairs well with chrome bumpers and wheels.
Getting it on
Installation is tape-on, per Trim Illusion. Your drill stays in the toolbox. Clean the area carefully before you start. ABS plastic is the material.
Applications
Fitment covers 2015-2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban and 2015-2020 GMC Yukon. Check the year range for yours.
Boxed, it measures near 13.0 x 6.0 x 4.0 in. A normal car wash is all it needs. There is no body shop visit involved.
Have part number MC238 handy when you call. Study the images before you buy. Call 877-752-3811 with your year, make, model and trim.
Avoid installing in extreme cold or heat.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. Done well, it looks like it came from the factory.
It goes through regular washing with the rest of the vehicle. Automatic brush washes are harder on trim than hand washing.
We cover shipping costs to the continental US. When in doubt, ask before you buy.
Hydro-dipping requires removing the parts first. There is no paint booth involved.
Check that the finish is what you expected before you begin. Test the fit before anything is pressed home. Give it time before the first wash.
One mismatched part can stand out more than you expect. This part handles one piece of that puzzle.
It is a good choice if you are building a themed look. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.
Consistency is the goal with exterior trim. It is a quick win for the overall appearance.
Treat it like the rest of the exterior. Road salt rinses off easily with plain water.
Body shops charge by the hour for finish changes. There is no curing time to wait out.
Shipping is free within the contiguous United States.
Unpack carefully and set the parts on a soft surface. Line it up by eye and step back to check.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
