Product Description
Trim Illusion Chrome Mirror Covers for 2018-2024 Chevrolet Equinox & 1 more (MC287)
Part MC287 from Trim Illusion is a mirror cover set finished in chrome, made to fit the 2018-2024 Chevrolet Equinox. It is not limited to one model; see the full list below. It ships as two separate pieces.
Fit details
It covers the top of the housing.
Attachment
It mounts with adhesive tape. There is no drilling. Clean the area carefully before you start. The part is molded ABS plastic.
Why it matters
Mirror housings stick out at eye level. A fresh finish there hides fading and scuffs. Chrome brings bright highlights back. It matches factory chrome elsewhere on many vehicles.

More applications
All 2 listed vehicles: 2018-2024 Chevrolet Equinox and 2018-2024 GMC Terrain. Shared platforms explain the overlap.

Replacing factory pieces can mean removing panels. Look closely at the images, especially near sensors and emblems. Package size: roughly 13.0 by 6.0 by 4.0 inches.
Give yourself a clean, well-lit space. Skip abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.
Consistency is the goal with exterior trim. It gives this spot the same attention as the rest.
There is no ongoing upkeep schedule. Keep wax and polish off the edges where possible.
We cover shipping costs to the continental US. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.
Paint matching small parts is harder than it sounds. There is no paint booth involved.
This suits owners who want a custom look without a shop visit. Patience matters more than tools here. The finished look is clean and intentional.
Read any instructions in the package before beginning. Work from one side to the other in a consistent order. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. Small alignment errors are easiest to fix before committing. Once it is in place, press evenly across the whole part.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders.
Small finish changes add up across a vehicle. This part handles one piece of that puzzle.
After installation, there is nothing special to maintain. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.
Lease drivers often prefer add-on trim over permanent changes. It does not require a lift or a garage full of equipment. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
