Vehicles covered
Trim Illusion lists 2 applications: 2018-2024 Chevrolet Equinox and 2018-2024 GMC Terrain. Shared platforms explain the overlap.
Compatibility notes
It covers the top of the housing.
Style
The mirrors sit right where people look when you pull up. A fresh finish there hides fading and scuffs. A gloss black finish darkens bright trim. Many owners pair it with a sport or night package look.
Installation
MC6287BLK is tape-on. Your drill stays in the toolbox. Most of the work is cleaning and lining it up. ABS plastic is the material.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
