Product Description
Trim Illusion Gloss Black Mirror Covers for 2016-2021 Honda Civic & 1 more (MC6281BLK)
Looking to change the look of a 2016-2021 Honda Civic? The Trim Illusion mirror cover set MC6281BLK does it in gloss black. Several more vehicles share it. Expect two parts when you open it.
Why it matters
Side mirrors are hard to miss from the front or side. A fresh finish there hides fading and scuffs. Gloss black removes chrome from the picture. It suits black wheels and tinted windows.
Before you order
Mirror coverage is top.
Installation
This one attaches with tape. No factory parts come off. A clean, dry, wax-free surface is the key step. The part is molded ABS plastic.
Vehicles covered
Here is every vehicle it fits: 2016-2021 Honda Civic and 2019-2022 Honda Insight. Check the year range for yours.

Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. Patience matters more than tools here. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
Start by matching each piece to its position on the vehicle. Test the fit before anything is pressed home. Give it time before the first wash.
After installation, there is nothing special to maintain. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly.

Hydro-dipping requires removing the parts first. The vehicle stays drivable the whole time.
It suits anyone tired of the stock appearance. Most people finish it in one session. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.

It goes through regular washing with the rest of the vehicle. Keep wax and polish off the edges where possible.
Inspect each piece before installation day. Work from one side to the other in a consistent order. Wipe off fingerprints when you are done.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
