Product Description
Trim Illusion Gloss Black Mirror Covers for 2017-2025 Cadillac XT5 & 5 more (MC6355BLK)
MC6355BLK is a gloss black mirror cover set built by Trim Illusion for the 2017-2025 Cadillac XT5. It is not limited to one model; see the full list below. The kit includes four pieces.
Fitting it
Fitting type: tape-on. No factory parts come off. Surface prep is what makes the tape hold. Trim Illusion lists the material as ABS plastic.
Complete the look
For a matched Cadillac XT5, see ABS483 (grille overlay, chrome), ABS6805BLK (grille overlay, gloss black). Fitment differs by part, so verify each.
Also fits
Trim Illusion lists 6 applications: 2017-2025 Cadillac XT5, 2019-2023 Cadillac XT4, 2020-2025 Cadillac XT6, 2019-2026 Chevrolet Blazer, 2024-2025 Acura ZDX and 2024-2025 Honda Prologue. Shared platforms explain the overlap.
Why it matters
Mirror caps take sun, bugs and parking-lot bumps. A new cap finish shows right away. Gloss black works for a chrome-delete look. It looks sharp on light paint and blends on dark paint.

It skips the downtime of a paint job. Temperate weather helps adhesives set.
Check that the finish is what you expected before you begin. Small alignment errors are easiest to fix before committing. A final walk-around confirms everything sits even.
Aftermarket replacements often need cutting or drilling. No masking or overspray to deal with.
Shipping is free within the contiguous United States. Double-check fitment before checkout.
One mismatched part can stand out more than you expect. It gives this spot the same attention as the rest.
Treat it like the rest of the exterior. Avoid pressure-washing edges at close range.
Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. It changes the vehicle's character in a small but clear way.
It suits anyone tired of the stock appearance. Plan a calm afternoon rather than a rushed half hour.
There is no ongoing upkeep schedule. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
Body shops charge by the hour for finish changes. There is no paint booth involved.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.
Consistency is the goal with exterior trim. It makes the change visible from the street.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. Once it is in place, press evenly across the whole part.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
