Product Description
Trim Illusion Gloss Black Tailgate Handle Cover for 2019-2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (TG6160BLK)
For owners of a 2019-2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, TG6160BLK offers an easy finish change: a gloss black tailgate handle cover by Trim Illusion. There is only one piece to install.
The look
It refreshes one area of the vehicle in a single step. Most owners match it to their other trim. Black trim makes body color stand out more. It looks sharp on light paint and blends on dark paint.
Fit notes
Camera note: With Camera. It is listed for the LT/TB trims.
Fitment is the 2019-2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 alone. Other years use different parts.
Mounting
No fitting type is listed for TG6160BLK. Call us at 877-752-3811 before ordering. It is made of ABS plastic.
Matching parts
For a matched Chevrolet Silverado 1500, see DH6315BLK (door handle cover, gloss black), ABS6593BLK (grille overlay, gloss black), MC327 (mirror cover, chrome), WSK724-18BLK (wheel skin set, gloss black), CCAP6800BLK (wheel center cap set, gloss black). Fitment differs by part, so verify each.
Treat it gently, as you would clear-coated paint. It is cheaper than painting or dipping trim. Boxed, it measures near 4.0 x 6.0 x 12.0 in.
Rushing is the most common mistake. Talk to us first if in doubt: 877-752-3811.
Compare the photos with your vehicle before ordering. Order and support questions go fastest with TG6160BLK.
After installation, there is nothing special to maintain. Use pH-neutral soaps when you can.
Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. You do not need special skills to get a clean result. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. Hold each part in place to confirm the shape lines up. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
The eye follows lines of trim around the body. This part handles one piece of that puzzle.
QAA ships free to the lower 48 states. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.
Hydro-dipping requires removing the parts first. The vehicle stays drivable the whole time.
Confirming the year and trim first saves time.
Lease drivers often prefer add-on trim over permanent changes. It does not require a lift or a garage full of equipment. The finished look is clean and intentional.
Small finish changes add up across a vehicle. It is one step toward a cohesive look.
There is no paint booth involved.
Treat it like the rest of the exterior.
A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. A final walk-around confirms everything sits even.
