Product Description
Hyundai Sonata 2011-2013 Chrome ABS Grille Overlay, 2-Piece (SGC11360)
SGC11360 is a two-piece grille overlay for the Hyundai Sonata sedan, model years 2011, 2012 and 2013. Unlike most QAA trim, it isn't stainless steel. The listing describes it as chrome plated ABS plastic, imported, and that difference shapes everything about how you should think about this part.
Plastic with a chrome finish
The record gives the material as "Chrome Plated ABS plastic" and the bullet reads "High Quality Chrome Plated ABS Plastic - Imported." ABS is a rigid plastic; the bright look comes from the plating on its surface. It is a different product from QAA's made-in-USA polished stainless line, and no gauge, steel grade or adhesive tape is listed for it.
The listing's wording
The second bullet says "Easy installation! Cut to perfection & Polished to a Mirror Shine." That is the listing's language. It doesn't explain the mounting method, so call 877-752-3811 for that.
Sonata coverage
Hyundai Sonata, 4-door sedan, 2011 through 2013. The record lists no trim exclusions. If your Sonata has a non-original grille or a front-end repair, tell us before ordering.
Two pieces
The kit has two pieces. The data doesn't say how they split the grille or give any dimensions. The product photos are the guide, so compare them with a straight-on shot of your own car.
How it attaches: call us
Nothing in the record says whether these pieces clip in, press on or use adhesive. Call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 before ordering and ask how SGC11360 goes on your Sonata. We'll also tell you whether anything besides the two pieces is needed.
No linked parts
The listing has no linked parts. If you want other trim for the Sonata, ask us on the same call and we'll check what QAA lists for your year.
Clean grille, easier fit
Wash the grille with mild soap, rinse the openings and let it dry fully. Dust and wax film keep any part from seating cleanly.
Line it up first
Hold both pieces against the grille before fixing anything, and check from the front that they sit evenly. Plated plastic can be flexed slightly, but don't force it into place.
Treating chrome plating kindly
Plated surfaces dislike abrasives. Use mild soap, a soft mitt and a microfiber towel. Skip polishing compounds, scouring pads and strong solvents, which can dull or wear through plating.
Why choose chrome ABS?
Plastic overlays are light and follow the grille's molded shape. If you specifically want stainless steel, ask us whether QAA lists a stainless grille accent for your Sonata instead.
Ready to order?
Have your model year and a front photo handy when you call. A quick conversation confirms the fit and the mounting so there are no surprises.
A word on expectations
A grille overlay changes the face of the car more than a thin accent strip does. Look at the photos in good light and picture your Sonata's color behind the chrome before you decide.
