Product Description
GMC Terrain 2016-2017 Chrome ABS Grille Overlay, 3 Pieces (SGC56275)
SGC56275 is a three-piece chrome plated ABS plastic grille overlay for the GMC Terrain SUV in two model years, 2016 and 2017. It is a separate listing from the single-piece overlay QAA catalogs for the earlier Terrain, and the two are not linked, so make sure you're looking at the one for your year.
Two model years
The record covers 2016 and 2017 only. If your Terrain is from any other year, this isn't the listing for it. The year is on your registration and on the label in the door jamb.
Earlier Terrain owners
QAA lists a different, one-piece chrome ABS overlay for the earlier Terrain. Because the piece counts differ, the grilles evidently aren't treated as the same in the catalog. Pick by year, and call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 if your Terrain sits close to the changeover.
What the listing says
"Grille Overlay," "High Quality Chrome Plated ABS Plastic - Imported," and "Easy installation! Cut to perfection & Polished to a Mirror Shine." No sizes, mounting method or hardware are given.
Three pieces
The kit has three parts. The data doesn't describe their arrangement. The product photos are the guide.
Mounting
Since the record doesn't say how the pieces attach, ask us before ordering. We'll explain what the job involves on your Terrain.
Plated, not polished steel
Chrome plated ABS looks bright, weighs little and holds a molded shape. It should be cleaned gently because the plating is a surface layer. No QAA made-in-USA, gauge or tape claims apply to it.
No linked parts
Nothing is tied to this record. Ask us about other Terrain trim if you're planning more.
Sort before you start
Lay the three pieces out and compare them with the photos. Number the three pieces with small strips of painter's tape on the backs, following the photos.
Prep
Wash and dry the grille. Clear grime from the openings and wipe away any wax where the pieces will sit.
Fit by hand first
Position all three before fixing any. Stand a few feet in front of the SUV and judge whether the spacing looks balanced.
Aftercare
Mild soap and a soft cloth keep plating clean. Skip compound and abrasive pads. Rinse off road salt in winter.
Temperature
Plastic parts fit more easily when they're at room temperature. On a cold day, warm them indoors first.
Questions to settle on the phone
Confirm your year, ask how the three pieces attach, and send a front photo if your grille has ever been replaced. That's all we need to make sure SGC56275 is the right overlay for you.
What three pieces suggest
A three-piece layout often means a center section and two sides, but the data doesn't say so for this overlay, and we won't assume. The photos are the reference. If anything in them doesn't match what you see on your Terrain, that's the moment to stop and call us.

Installation tips: Grill Overlay
- Unpack all 3 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- QAA's listing does not state how this part mounts. Check the product photos, or call 877-752-3811 before installing.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
