Product Description
GMC Sierra 2014-2015 Chrome Plated ABS Grille Overlay, Four Pieces (SGC54281)
SGC54281 is a four-piece grille overlay listed for the GMC Sierra pickup, 2014 and 2015, in 2-door and 4-door form. It's made from chrome plated ABS plastic and imported. The fitment line doesn't name a series or trim, which is the main thing to check before you order.
A broad fitment line
The record says "GMC Sierra 2014-2015" with 2-door and 4-door pickup bodies, and nothing else: no light-duty or heavy-duty designation and no trim list. The data doesn't say whether every Sierra grille in those years accepts this overlay. Compare the photos with your truck and call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 to confirm before buying.
Plastic, plated, imported
The listing gives "High Quality Chrome Plated ABS Plastic - Imported." It isn't stainless steel and isn't part of QAA's made-in-USA line.
Four pieces
Four parts come in the kit. Their positions and sizes aren't recorded, so study the product photos to see where each one sits.
How it attaches
The record doesn't say. The bullet "Easy installation! Cut to perfection & Polished to a Mirror Shine" doesn't describe a method either. Ask us before ordering so you know what you're taking on.
No linked parts
Nothing else is tied to this record, and it isn't linked to the Silverado overlays. We can look up other Sierra trim on request.
Model year window
Two years, 2014 and 2015. An older or newer Sierra isn't covered here.
Organizing four pieces
Unpack onto a towel, match each part to the photos, and mark them with painter's tape so you don't mix up positions.
Preparation
Wash and dry the grille and remove any wax where the pieces will sit. Brush out the openings if they hold road grime.
Rehearse the fit
Hold every piece in place before fixing any. Look from straight ahead and from each corner of the truck to judge the spacing.
Plating care
Mild soap, a soft mitt, and a microfiber towel to dry. Skip compound and abrasive pads, and keep pressure-washer nozzles back.
Cold-day tip
Plastic parts are less flexible when cold. If your garage is chilly, bring the pieces inside to warm up before fitting.
Information to have ready
Year, cab, whether it's a light- or heavy-duty Sierra, and the trim. Those answers, plus a front photo, let us confirm the fit quickly.
If you want steel
Ask whether QAA lists a stainless grille accent for your Sierra if you'd rather avoid plated plastic.
Sierra or Silverado?
Chevrolet and GMC pickups of these years share a lot, but QAA lists separate overlays for each, and this record covers the GMC Sierra. If you own a Silverado, look at the Silverado listings instead; the grilles aren't interchangeable as far as this catalog shows. When in doubt, your registration tells you which nameplate you have, and we can confirm the rest by phone in a minute or two. Have the year and cab ready as well.
