Best conditions
Tape bonds best on a mild, dry day out of direct sun. Leave the truck dry overnight after the last piece goes on. If it was waxed recently, run the degreaser over each handle area a second time, since wax keeps foam tape from gripping the paint.
Caring for black trim
Gloss black shows fine scratches easily, so wash it gently with mild soap and a clean microfiber towel. Keep abrasive pads and heavy compounds away from it.
