Honda Accord Coupe 2003-2007 Gas Door Trim, Polished Stainless (GC23251)
GC23251 is the coupe version. It fits the Honda Accord 2-door coupe from 2003 through 2007, and the catalog note says it plainly: coupe only. It's one polished piece of 26 gauge 304 stainless, USA-made. The trim mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
Coupe or sedan? Pick the right one
The Accord from these years has two separate gas door listings:
- GC23251 (this page): 2-door coupe, noted coupe only.
- GC23281: the 4-door sedan version.
The catalog doesn't describe how the two differ in shape, so order by body style. If you have a sedan, GC23281 is the listing to use.
Not a replacement cap

On the two-door Honda, the trim lies over the existing fuel door with nothing drilled. QAA states that the tape will last a lifetime and cause no damage to the vehicle's surface.
Look at the paint
On an Accord from these years, the fuel door's paint may have faded or chipped. The tape attaches to that paint, so it needs to be intact. Repair any peeling first, and confirm the door latches and sits flush.
How to install
Clean the door face with soap and water, rinse, and wipe with degreaser to strip wax. When it's dry, close the door and position the trim with the liner on. You're aiming for an even band of paint around the edge. Mark the spot on the body with painter's tape. Peel the liner, line up, and press firmly over every part of the face. A three-piece coupe set
The gas door, the four-piece handle accents and the two-piece pillar set together trim the coupe's side; check each listing for its finish. The gas door is the quickest of the three, so it's a sensible first step.
Centering it
Before peeling anything, have a helper hold the trim in place while you step back. Look straight on, then from toward the rear. If the paint border looks wider on one side, shift it slightly. On a small part, that minute of checking is what makes it look right.
About the steel
304 stainless, polished bright. 26 gauge is thin sheet, so the overlay stays low on a door that has to swing.
Conditions and care
Install on a dry, mild day and keep it dry overnight. Wash with mild soap and a soft cloth, and wipe off fuel drips.
