Product Description
Honda Civic Sedan 2006-2011 Gas Door Trim, Crease Contour, 304 Stainless (GC26214)
If you drive a 2006-2011 Honda Civic 4-door sedan, GC26214 is the polished stainless cover for your fuel door. The catalog notes it's made with a crease contour, so it isn't a flat plate. For this Civic, the overlay is one piece of 304 stainless at 26 gauge, made in the USA. Mounting on the Civic uses 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
Shaped with a crease
"With crease contour" means the stainless is formed with a crease. The catalog doesn't describe it in more detail, so the photos are the best guide to how it sits. During the dry fit, line the crease up with the shape of the door before you mark anything.
It needs your gas door
GC26214 dresses the 2006-2011 Civic sedan's gas door; it is not a replacement cap or part, and that door must already be on the Honda.
Fitment
Honda Civic, 2006-2011, 4-door sedan. One row; see the Fitment tab.
Matching Civic sedan trim, with sizes
This Civic's matching parts include more measurements than most:
- DS26214: four-piece door sill trim, 1.625 inches.
- LP26214: license plate bezel, 6.94 inches.
- MI26214: eight-piece body molding insert kit, 0.5-0.8125 inches.
- RD26214: rear deck accent with a trim crease, 1.25 inches.
- TH26214: two-piece rocker trim that installs below the door, on the rocker, 1.25 inches.
- PP26214 and PP26215: pillar post trim, four and six pieces.
WP26214, WP26215, WQ26214 and WS26214 are also listed. The rear deck accent shares the crease detail, which may matter if you want the two pieces to look consistent.
Attachment
The crease-contour trim goes onto the Civic's fuel door surface as it stands, no drilling. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime and not damage the vehicle's surface.
Before you start
Check the paint on the fuel door for chips or peeling and fix any first, since the tape bonds to it. Confirm the door latches and sits flush.
Installing it
Soap and water, rinse, degreaser, dry. Then, with the door shut and the liner on, set the trim in place, matching the crease to the door and evening out the border. Mark the position with painter's tape on the body. Peel and press firmly across the whole surface, paying attention to both sides of the crease. Press again after a minute. Open the door slowly to check clearance. The Installation tab has full steps.
A creased pair
Two pieces in this Civic lineup carry a crease: this gas door trim and the RD26214 rear deck accent. If you like the shaped look, doing both gives the car a consistent detail. If you prefer flatter accents, the sill, molding insert and rocker listings don't mention a crease, so check their photos.
Getting it straight
With a crease to follow, alignment matters more than on a flat piece. A helper holding the trim while you step back is the easiest way to judge it. Make small moves, then mark.
Weather and cleaning
Mild, dry day; dry overnight. Mild soap and a soft cloth afterward. Wipe off fuel drips.

Installation tips: Gas Door Cover Trim
- Confirm your vehicle still has its original gas door. This trim mounts over it and does not replace it.
- Unpack the piece and hold it in position to confirm the fit before mounting it.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Step back and check alignment before pressing along the full length of the piece.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
