How the Civic set is made
The full sixteen-piece Civic package is USA-made polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, and 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape secures it over the existing trim, pillars and sills. QAA says that tape will hold for a lifetime with no harm to the 2006-2011 sedan.
Three piles
Upper trim, pillar posts and window sills each get a pile, ordered by door. Take one door's pieces at a time to the 2006-2011 Civic, compare them with the windows and the photos, and pencil each spot on its liner. Keep the DS26214 door sill trim, if you bought it, in its own box; it isn't part of this window set.
Before the tape
- Look for old adhesive or wax on the frames, pillars and sill ledges and clear it
- Wash and dry the sedan
- Wipe each strip with a wax-and-grease remover, then isopropyl alcohol, right before its piece
Door by door
Upper piece first, pillar pieces next, window sill last. Test each one with its liner attached, mark the ends with painter's tape and shut the door gently to check it clears. Then peel back a short length of liner, press the end in place and work along.
Aftercare
One day without a wash, then mild soap and a soft cloth. If a piece won't sit the way the photos show, leave it unbonded and call 877-752-3811.

PP26214, PP26215 and WS26214 are separate products; if you own any of them, keep them apart from this package while you work.
