Cleaning is the job
Sills are where shoes drag grit and moisture into the car. Vacuum, wash, rinse and degrease each sill thoroughly, and remove any dressing or protectant. Let them dry completely before you start.
Fitting
With the door open, hold a plate in place with the liner on, center it on the sill, and mark the ends with painter's tape. Peel, align, and press firmly along the length, then again a minute later. Why sill plates on a sedan
Open any door and the sill is the first thing at your feet. A polished plate turns that plain strip into a finished detail, and because it sits flat on the threshold, the doors close the same as before.
