GC29220 fits the Honda Fit 4-door hatchback, model years 2009 through 2013, and it's formed with a crease contour according to the catalog. Made in the USA, the Fit's trim is one polished 26-gauge piece of 304 stainless steel. The Fit overlay is fixed using 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
The shape

Mounting
The crease-contour trim fits over the Fit's existing fuel door, no drilling required. Per QAA, the tape holds for a lifetime and won't damage the vehicle's surface.
Paint check
Inspect the fuel door's paint. The adhesive grips it directly, so any chips, fading or lifting clear coat should be repaired first. The door should latch and sit flush.
Install
Wash, rinse, degrease, and dry the door face. With the door closed and the liner on, set the crease to match the door and then center the piece so the paint border is even. Mark it on the body with painter's tape. Peel, place, and press firmly on both sides of the crease and along every edge. Press again after a minute. Ease the door open to confirm it clears. With a shaped part, a second person really helps: one holds, one stands back and judges the alignment.
Front triangle note
PP29222 is the only Fit pillar set whose note mentions the front triangle piece in front of the mirror. If you want that area covered, start your comparison there.

Polished 304 stainless, bright and reflective; 26 gauge thin sheet.
Weather and care
Install on a mild, dry day and keep it dry overnight; afterward, gentle soap, a soft cloth and a wipe of any fuel drips.
