Wash, rinse, dry and degrease the door's face. Do the photo-matched dry fit described above, and mark the position with painter's tape. Peel the liner, align, and press firmly over the whole trim, working the crease carefully so the tape seats fully there. Press again after a minute, then open the door slowly to confirm it clears. The polished 304 surface catches light along the crease, giving it a little depth. At 26 gauge it remains thin. Install on a mild, dry day, let the tape cure overnight, and clean with mild soap and a soft cloth, wiping off any fuel.
