Mounting
3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape holds the bezel directly over the existing surface; there's no drilling. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Before you start, look over the paint around the plate, touching up chips and repairing clear coat that's lifting. Remove old adhesive with a plastic tool. Wash, rinse, dry and wipe with rubbing alcohol. Then dry-fit with the liner on, mark the position with painter's tape, peel and press firmly around the frame, and press again.
