1990-1994 Chevrolet Lumina Coupe Upper Kit, 5.5", Wheel Well to Wheel Well, Six Pieces (TH19171)
TH19171 is the two-door coupe version of QAA's Lumina Upper Kit. It's six pieces of polished stainless steel, 5.5" wide, for the 1990-1994 Chevrolet Lumina coupe. The two notes: "Includes coverage between the wheel wells only" and "Spans from the bottom of the molding DOWN to the specified width."
Six pieces for two doors
The sedan kit, TH19170, has eight pieces for the same 5.5" band; the coupe has six. The record doesn't break down how the six pieces are arranged on this two-door Lumina, so the layout differs from the sedan kit. The photos show it, and you can call 877-752-3811 if you'd like it explained.
The coverage, in plain terms
Start at the bottom edge of the side molding and measure five and a half inches down. That's the height of the steel. Then look from the front wheel opening to the rear one; that's the length. Nothing is covered outside the wheel wells.

Fitment is the Chevrolet Lumina 2-door coupe, 1990 through 1994. There is a separate listing for the sedan.

Molding check
This kit uses the molding as its top reference. If your coupe's molding has been removed or replaced, or the space below it isn't smooth for 5.5", call before ordering.
Preparing older paint
Wash, rinse and dry. Polish dull, chalky paint until it's firm and smooth. Any rust, blistering or flaking needs repair first; the steel is only as secure as the surface beneath. Finally, degrease the whole band with isopropyl alcohol, including the corner under the molding.
Install
Sort and number the six pieces using the photos. Dry-fit the pieces that meet, liners on, each top edge tight to the molding. Open the door and check the joints. Then peel and press piece by piece, with firm pressure across the full height.
Lumina line check
As you place pieces, note where each joint falls relative to the door edge and the wheel openings, and keep those positions consistent. An uneven joint is easy to spot from a few feet away, so take the measurements.
Supplies
Have car soap, polish, isopropyl alcohol, lint-free cloths, painter's tape and a tape measure on hand, plus a second person to help on the Lumina.
Afterward
About a day before washing. Warm, dry conditions help the tape bond.
Care
Rinse the lower body after winter drives; a non-abrasive polish keeps the steel bright.
