Installing tapered strips
Wash, dry and alcohol-wipe the moldings first. Lay the four strips out by the photos and mark each liner with its position and an arrow pointing to the wide end. Hold each strip on its molding with the liner still on and check that the taper follows the molding along its whole length. Mark both ends with painter's tape. Peel, set, and press from the wide end toward the narrow end, firmly and evenly. Repeat for each remaining strip. Then step back and check that the strips read as one line.
