Product Description
Ten-Piece Pillar Post Trim for the Chevrolet Volt, 2011-2015 (PP53133)
The set. PP53133 has ten pillar post covers for the Chevrolet Volt, priced at $95.49. They're polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA. The record shows one fitment row, Chevrolet Volt 2011-2015, tagged 4-door, Hatchback.
Ten out of five choices. The Volt record links five pillar sets on that row, and this is the second largest. The others are PP53130 (four covers), PP53131 (six), PP53132 (eight) and PP53134 (twelve). No set carries a note, and none lists its posts or any widths, so we can't tell you on paper which posts the ten reach and the twelve don't, or the other way round. The photos are the honest guide. Compare the galleries, then look at your own Volt, and pick the coverage you're after. A call is welcome if you're weighing ten against twelve, and we can go through both galleries together.
Year. The row runs 2011 through 2015. Look at your records; a Volt from outside that span isn't listed for this set. There's no other Volt trim linked to the record, so the pillar sets are the only items to compare.

What it does. It changes how the posts look, nothing else. The doors, side glass and seals go on working as before, and the 304 alloy resists corrosion by its own composition, with no plated surface.
Mounting. Each of the ten mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape straight over the paint or trim already on its post. There's no drilling and nothing is removed from the Chevrolet. Temperatures and cure time are on the Installation tab.
Preparing ten posts. This is the longest part of the job, so set aside plenty of time. Gather low-tack painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, a bucket of car-soap water and a large stack of lint-free cloths. On every post, remove wax, sealant and polish, and repair paint that's chalky, cracked or flaking, since that coat is what the tape holds to. Wash, rinse and dry, then wipe with rubbing alcohol until a clean fold of cloth stays clean, and run a fingertip along each post for dents.
Fitting. Work in the shade on a dry, still day. Lay the ten on a clean towel beside the gallery and report any damage before you begin. Put a numbered tab of tape at each post. For each cover in turn, keep the liner on, hold it up, ease it until the reveal is even and frame it in painter's tape; then peel, place it within the frame and press hard along its face and down both edges. Check each one from a step back before moving to the next.
If one won't seat, don't force it. Keep its liner on and call us on 877-752-3811. After the tape cures, wash the ten with car soap and water and dry them with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 10 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
