Product Description
Chevrolet Volt 2011-2015 Twelve-Cover Stainless Pillar Post Trim (PP53134)
PP53134 is the largest Chevrolet Volt pillar set in the record, with twelve covers for $111.99. Every cover is polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA. The fitment row reads Chevrolet Volt 2011-2015, tagged 4-door, Hatchback.
Four smaller sets share that row: PP53130 with four covers, PP53131 with six, PP53132 with eight and PP53133 with ten. None of the five has a note, names its posts or gives widths. So although twelve is the highest count on offer, the record doesn't say what the further covers reach compared with the ten-cover set. Look at both galleries closely, then at the posts on your own Volt, before deciding twelve is what you want. We'll happily look at the photos with you on the phone first, and talk through what the twelve will look like on your car.
Twelve covers fit a Volt dated 2011 through 2015. The row covers 2011 to 2015, and a Volt from any other year isn't covered. No other Volt trim is linked to this record. Questions go to Quality Automotive Trims on 877-752-3811; mention PP53134 and the model year.
Whichever count you choose, twelve covers or four, the change is purely cosmetic. They dress the posts while the doors, windows and weatherstrip work exactly as before. Grade 304 stainless keeps corrosion off through its alloy, so there's nothing plated to flake.
All twelve mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape laid directly over each post's existing surface. You won't drill a single hole, and no trim needs removing from the Chevrolet. The Installation tab gives the temperature window and the cure period, and with this many covers it's worth planning the day around them.
With twelve posts, prep is a proper job. Lay out painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, car-soap water and a generous pile of lint-free cloth. Strip wax, sealant and polish from every post. Wherever the paint has gone powdery or started to crack or peel, repair it first, because the tape bonds to that layer. Wash, rinse and dry each post, finish it with rubbing alcohol until the cloth comes away spotless, and feel along for dents.
First, pick a calm, dry day out of the sun and lay the twelve out with the gallery, telling us at once about any damage. Second, match each cover to a post and mark a number beside it on tape. Third, liner on, offer one cover up, shift it until the margin is even and trace it in tape. Fourth, take off the liner, set the cover in the tracing and press firmly end to end and along both edges. Step back to check it before starting the next, and take a break partway if you need one.
If a cover won't settle or lifts at one end, keep its liner on, set it aside on a clean towel, and phone 877-752-3811. Once cured, car soap, water and a soft towel are all the set needs.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 12 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
