Product Description
Kia K5 Sedan 2021-2026 Pillar Post Trim, Four Mirror-Stainless Pieces (PP71805)
The Kia K5 has one of the fuller accessory families in QAA's catalog, and PP71805 is the entry-level pillar kit within it. Four polished stainless steel covers are listed for the 4-door K5 sedan, model years 2021 through 2026.
Three pillar kits
QAA lists the K5 pillar trim in four pieces (this kit), six pieces (PP71806), and eight pieces (PP71807). All three share the same fitment, and the catalog does not say which posts each one dresses. The photos on each listing are where to compare them.
The rest of the K5 lineup
- WS71805, a six-piece window sill set for the face of the sills
- TH71805, a four-piece lower rocker kit that installs below the door on the rocker, tapered from 2.25 to 2.75 inches wide
- WQ71805, a six-piece wheel well accent set
- RB71805 rear bumper accent, RD71805 rear deck accent, GC71805 gas door cover trim, and LP71805 license plate bezel
Pillar covers frame the windows vertically; the sill set runs along the bottom of the glass, so the two are a natural pair.
Why four
Four covers put stainless on the window line without making it the dominant feature of the sedan. It suits owners who like a refined accent, or who want to start small and see how they like it.
Fitment
Kia K5, 4-door sedan, model years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. The Fitment tab shows the record. Confirm the year on your registration before ordering.
Material
Each cover is made in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish. Because there is no plating, the shine belongs to the metal, and the four pieces match.
Mounting and install
3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape holds each cover over the existing surface. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing damage to the vehicle surface. Wash, dry, and de-wax the pillars. Dry-fit each cover, then peel the liner and press firmly along its length. Fit one K5 cover, step back, and set the next to it. A dry, mild day is best; skip washing for a few days. The Installation tab has full steps.
Care
Rinse the covers before wiping, then wash with mild soap and pat them dry with a soft towel. Abrasive pads will mark the polished faces.
What pillars are
The pillars are the vertical posts that hold up the roof and divide the side windows. Polished covers give them a bright outline against the paint. The trim is decorative and sits over the original posts, which stay untouched.
Lining up the K5 covers
With four covers, each one is seen on its own. Place the first piece slowly and judge the rest against it. If something looks off during the dry-fit, check the photos before peeling the liner.
Planning ahead
Every K5 pillar kit is a complete set. If you think you may want more stainless, compare the six and eight-piece kits before ordering so you only buy once.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
