Because the tape grips whatever finish is already there, run a hand and eye along each post. Chalky dust, a web of fine cracks, a curling edge or a wax glaze all need fixing before you start. Then soap, rinse and dry, and rub down with rubbing alcohol on a lint-free cloth until a fresh one comes away clean.
Have a bucket, car soap, rubbing alcohol, lint-free cloths, painter's tape and a pencil to hand, and a helper who can watch alignment and keep the six covers in order.
On a calm, dry day out of the sun, unpack all six and compare each with the photos; call about anything bent or missing. Set the six G Sedan covers next to the gallery. With the liner on, set each cover against its post, slide it until the reveal is even, and box it in with painter's tape. Box all six before peeling anything. Then two at a time: peel, ease the cover into its box, and press hard along its length and both edges. Pause every couple of covers to compare.
