No drilling. On the Verano, each of the pieces, the two at the mirror included, is held by 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape pressed onto the existing paint or trim. There are no holes to make and nothing has to be lifted off the Buick first. The Installation tab gives the temperatures the tape should be applied in and the cure time.
Prepare every post that will take a cover, the front pillar section included. Gather painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, soapy water and plenty of lint-free cloth. Strip wax and polish, repair paint that's chalking, crazing or lifting, then wash, rinse and dry. Wipe with rubbing alcohol until a fresh fold shows nothing, and feel for dents.
Work in shade on a dry, calm day. Lay everything out against the gallery, including the two front pillar pieces, and tell us right away about any damage. Tape a number at each post. Piece by piece: liner on, offer it up, adjust until the reveal is even and box it in with tape; liner off, into the box, firm pressure across its face and down both edges. Step back and check each before going on.
