Not the 6.5 bed
Crew Cab owners with the 6.5 bed need TH55305 or TH55306 instead. Because the bed side carries part of the kit, a wrong bed shows at the back of the truck. Check the build sheet or measure.
Preview the coverage
With painter's tape, mark the molding's lower edge and a parallel line 4.5" below it from the front fender to the tail. That is the band of polished steel you're buying.
Getting ready
Soap, rinse and dry the lower body. Pay attention to the seam under the molding, where water hides. Then wipe the band with isopropyl alcohol and let it flash off.
Layout and dry fit
Group the twelve pieces and order them from the photos. Tape each one up and look down the side from the front bumper. The tops should form one clean line under the molding. Swing the doors before going further.
