TH95360 Hyundai Sonata 1992-1995 Sedan Upper Rocker Kit, 4", 8 Pieces
TH95360 is an eight-piece polished stainless steel Upper Kit for the 1992-1995 Hyundai Sonata 4-door sedan. It "Spans from the bottom of the molding DOWN to the specified width," and the width is 4".
Upper Kit or Full Kit
The Sonata has two linked rocker listings with the same eight-piece count:
- TH95360: Upper Kit, 4" down from the molding (this kit)
- TH95361: Full Kit, molding to door bottom, tapered 7.25" to 9"
This kit covers a 4" band just under the molding and leaves the rest of the lower door as it is. The Full Kit fills the whole space down to the door bottom. If you want the slimmer line, this is it; if you want the panel covered top to bottom, look at the Full Kit.
Mark it before ordering
Measure 4" down from the lower edge of the molding at both ends of every door and join the marks with masking tape. Step back. If the tape runs past the door bottom anywhere, call 877-752-3811 with a photo.

Material
The Sonata strips are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA, and fix over the existing finish with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. According to QAA the tape will hold for a lifetime and won't damage the surface.
Molding first
Every piece's top edge sits against the molding. Run a hand along it on each door; repair any lifting or cracked section before you begin.
Prep steps
- Soap the Sonata's doors under the molding, then rinse.
- Clear old wax off the sedan with wax-and-grease remover.
- Touch in chips on the lower doors.
- Alcohol-wipe each of the four doors last.
Eight pieces
Positions for the eight Sonata strips aren't on the record. Match them to the photos, then label every liner.
Dry fit and bond
Hold each piece with painter's tape, top edge snug under the molding, and open all four doors. Then peel the liner a few inches at a time and press firmly.
Later Sonata pieces
Hold every Sonata gap to the same measurement.
Conditions
Mild weather, out of the sun; keep the sedan dry overnight.
One door first
Fit one door completely, then step back and check the lower edge before going on. Keep the box until every piece is on.
If a door has been replaced
The lower edge follows the molding, so a replaced door or refitted molding needs checking on its own. Measure it separately and tell us which door it is when you call.
Handling
Lay the pieces on a soft towel while sorting so the polished faces stay unmarked, and keep every liner on until all four doors have been dry fitted and the line looks even from both ends of the car.

For the Sonata: tape measure, painter's and masking tape, a few microfiber cloths, wax-and-grease remover and isopropyl alcohol.
