AT17835 is the lower of the two side accent kits QAA makes for the 2017-2022 Kia Sportage. It is a set of four polished stainless steel strips, 1" wide, that form a body side molding accent low on the doors of the 4-door Sportage SUV. On a compact SUV with a lot of body cladding and lower sheet metal, a bright line down low gives the side view a lift and ties into the chrome around the windows and grille.
Lower fitment versus upper fitment
QAA's catalog note for this kit is simply "Lower fitment." Its sibling, AT17836, is the same width and piece count but carries the note "Upper fitment." So the two kits are not interchangeable, even though they look similar on paper. This one runs on the lower part of the side molding area, and AT17836 runs higher.
