Product Description
Kia Sportage 2017-2022 Eight-Piece Pillar Trim with Front Mirror Pieces (PP17837)
"Includes front mirror pieces." That's the note on PP17837, an eight-piece set of polished stainless pillar covers for the 2017-2022 Kia Sportage 4-door SUV. It's the first Sportage set to name further shapes, and the step below the ten-piece PP17838.
Mirror pieces, explained as far as the catalog goes
The note says front mirror pieces are part of this set. It uses the plural, but it doesn't give a count, a size or an exact position, and the other covers in the eight aren't named. The gallery is the best way to see them. The four-piece PP17835 and six-piece PP17836 don't mention mirror pieces at all. The ten-piece PP17838 mentions both front mirror pieces and front triangle pieces, so if you want triangle pieces too, that's the listing that names them. For the Sportage, one set is the whole job; ring us before ordering another.
Fitment
Kia Sportage, 2017 to 2022, 4-door, SUV, on a single row. Like its siblings, PP17837 is tagged for 2017 through 2022. If anything about your vehicle doesn't match, call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 with PP17837.
Made from
Eight covers of 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, polished, made in the USA. The shine is the steel, not a plated layer. They bond with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape directly over the existing surface, with no drilling and nothing removed. The set is listed at $111.99.
Giving the mirror pieces extra attention
The catalog names them after the front mirrors, so expect to fit them in a tighter space than the long covers. Lay them out separately from the rest and study their photos so you know which post each belongs to. Test each one with its liner on, and look at it from the front and the side before you mark its position; small shaped pieces show any misalignment more than long ones. If an outline doesn't seem to match anything near your mirrors, stop there and ask before peeling.
Preparation and fitting
Wash the pillar areas and the surround near each mirror with car soap, rinse and dry. Wipe with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth and let it evaporate. Remove wax or ceramic coating where tape will sit, and choose a dry, shaded day.
Count eight covers on arrival and identify the mirror pieces from the photos. Match everything to the photos. With liners on, test each piece against the vehicle, mark its spot with painter's tape, and pencil the location on the liner. Work through the Sportage covers one by one, pressing each firmly end to end and along both edges. Step back to check the lines from a distance.
Other Sportage trim
The sheet lists DH17836 (four-piece door handle accent trim), AT17835 and AT17836 (four-piece body side molding accents at width 1, noted "Lower fitment" and "Upper fitment"), and RD17835 (rear deck accent at width 1, listed for the SUV). RW17835 and LB17835 appear by number.
If a mirror piece or any other cover won't seat, keep its liner on and call 877-752-3811.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
