Dodge Neon Sedan 2000-2006 Stainless Gas Door Accent (GC41915)

Test-fit the trim with its liner still on, moving it until the reveal of paint around the edge is even. Lay a couple of small pieces of painter's tape on the body beside it as guides. Peel the liner, place the trim to your guides, and press hard over every part of it. Press again after about a minute and then open the door slowly to check clearance. Why the finish works here. Polished 304 stainless has a bright, reflective look, and the thin 26 gauge sheet sits nearly flush with the door. Because the gas door is a small, flat panel with no left-and-right partner to match, it's a forgiving first install.
Care. Install on a dry, mild day and let it sit overnight before getting it wet. Clean it with gentle soap and a soft cloth, and wipe away any fuel spills.
