Toyota Camry Sedan 2002-2006 Stainless Gas Door Trim (GC22130)
GC22130 is a polished stainless fuel door cover for the Toyota Camry 4-door sedan, model years 2002 through 2006. For the Camry, it's one 26 gauge 304 stainless piece, made in the USA. It's mounted with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
What it isn't
For the 2002-2006 Camry, this trim is not a replacement cap or part; the sedan's existing gas door has to be in place to mount it.

Three ways to trim the rockers
The cross-listings for this Camry are mostly rocker trim, and the three kits differ in where they sit and how much they cover:
- TH22130: an eight-piece lower kit spanning from the bottom of the door up to the specified width, listed at 1.25-2.182 inches.
- TH22131: a six-piece kit on the rocker, installing below the door, with a trim crease, listed at 1.625-3.375 inches.
- TH22132: an eight-piece full kit that includes trim on the door and on the rocker, spanning from the bottom of the molding to the bottom of the door, listed at 3.4-6.4 inches.
Widths are given as ranges, so the pieces vary in height along the car. The full kit is the largest coverage of the three. Photos on each page show placement. Pillar post sets PP22130 (four pieces) and PP22131 (six) are listed too; QAA doesn't explain what the two additional pieces cover.
Mounting
On the 2002-2006 Camry, the gas door trim sits over the existing surface with no holes. QAA says the tape will hold for a lifetime without damaging the sedan's surface.
Older paint check
A Camry from these years may have faded or chipped paint on the fuel door. Look closely before installing. The tape bonds directly to that surface, so repair any peeling or flaking first. Also make sure the door latches and sits flush.
Doing it
Clean the door face with soapy water and rinse it off. A degreaser wipe removes old wax. Once dry, close the door and hold the trim on it without peeling the liner. Center it so the paint border is even, and mark the spot on the body using painter's tape. Then remove the liner, set the trim on the mark, and press it down firmly all over. About the material
Polished 304 stainless gives a mirror-like face. At 26 gauge the sheet is thin, keeping the overlay slim on a moving door.
Weather
Mild and dry. Let it sit overnight without getting wet.
Care
Mild soap and a soft cloth do the cleaning, and fuel drips should be wiped off.

- Confirm your vehicle still has its original gas door. This trim mounts over it and does not replace it.
