GC28110 puts a one-piece polished stainless face on the fuel door of the Toyota Highlander 4-door SUV, model years 2008 through 2013. It's 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA, and it ships with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape.
Not a cap, not a door
A missing gas door isn't something this fixes: GC28110 is not a replacement cap or replacement part, and the 2008-2013 Highlander's existing gas door must be in place to install it.

Door and paint
Check that the fuel door opens freely and sits flush. Look at its paint for chips, fading, or loose clear coat and repair any of it first; the adhesive bonds right to that layer.
Install, start to finish
Wash the door face, rinse, degrease, and let it dry. With the liner on and the door shut, place the trim and slide it until the paint margin is even on every side. Mark the spot on the body with painter's tape. Peel, set to the mark, and press firmly across the whole face. Go over it again after a minute. Open the door gently to confirm it clears. Alignment tip
A helper holding the piece while you step back makes centering much easier. Check from straight on and from an angle.
Finish and thickness
Polished 304 stainless gives a bright, mirror-like accent. 26 gauge is thin sheet, so the overlay keeps a low profile.
Planning around the logo
Both license bars carry a "HIGHLANDER" logo cut out, so the main choice there is whether you need smart key access. The gas door piece itself has no logo note. Doing it first is a quick way to see the polished finish against your paint before choosing the rear pieces.
