To install, wash the door with soapy water, rinse it, dry it all the way, and then wipe it with a degreaser. Dry-fit before you peel anything: hold the trim on the closed door and slide it until the border of paint is even on all four sides, and mark the spot with painter's tape. Polished 304 stainless gives a bright, reflective accent, and at 26 gauge it stays thin against the door. Plan the install for a dry, mild day and leave the tape overnight before washing. Keep it clean afterward with mild soap and a soft cloth, wiping away fuel drips.
