Putting it on
Wash and dry the area. Wipe it with rubbing alcohol, then again with a fresh cloth. Check the paint for chips or residue from a dealer sticker and clear them. With the liner on, set the bar in place, measure from each end to the edges of the plate, and adjust until the two numbers match. Step back and check it's level. Mark both ends with painter's tape.
