Pillars are narrow and highly visible, so prep and alignment make a real difference to the result. Wash the pillars, then wipe with rubbing alcohol two or three times until the cloth stays clean. Let them dry. Open the rear door for easier access if that helps, but check alignment with the door closed. Dry-fit each piece with the liner on, matching its edges to the pillar outline. Peel the liner from the top down, pressing as you go, and finish with firm pressure along the whole piece. Repeat with the second piece, and compare both from a distance to make sure they look the same. The Installation tab has guidance on temperature and cure time.
Window trim companions
Two other H3 parts relate to the windows: HV46310, a four-piece window sill trim kit, and HV46311, a two-piece rear window trim accent. The catalog doesn't say whether either meets the pillar trim, so compare photos if you're combining them.
