No drill. Every cover mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape straight onto the post's existing paint or trim, and no trim has to come off the Aura. Temperatures and cure time are on the Installation tab.
Getting the posts clean. All six need wax, polish and sealant removed, and any powdery, crazed or peeling paint fixed beforehand, because that finish is what the tape will grip. Wash with car soap, rinse and let them dry right through. Then go over each with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloth, turning to fresh cloth until it comes away clean, and note any dent.
Have ready. Painter's tape and a pencil for six numbered labels, rubbing alcohol, soapy water and a good handful of lint-free cloths. A helper stepping back to judge your lines makes it easier.
Fitting. Shade and a dry, windless day suit this. Compare the six with the gallery and let us know about any damage. Number each post on painter's tape. One at a time, liner still on, rest a cover on its post, adjust until the margin is even and outline it with tape. Peel, set it within the outline and press firmly end to end and along both edges. Check against its photo, then move on.
If one won't settle. Now and then a cover rocks on its post or a corner stays a hair above the paint. That's the moment to stop: leave the liner where it is, set that piece on a clean towel and give us a ring on 877-752-3811 so we can work out what's going on. Once the tape has cured, the six are cared for with a car-soap wash and a soft towel.
