Wash with car soap, rinse, dry completely, then wipe with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloth, refolding until a clean fold shows nothing. Feel for dents as you go.
Gather painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, a bucket of car-soap water and a few lint-free cloths, plus the gallery open on your phone so each photo is a glance away while you work.
Pick a dry, calm day and park in shade. Hold the four up against their photos and tell us about any that are bent or missing. Number the posts on painter's tape. With its liner on, set the first cover on its post, ease it about until the reveal is even and tape a border round it. Peel, place it inside the border and press firmly along the face and both edges. Check it before the next.
