Product Description
Saturn Vue 2003-2007 Pillar Post Trim, Four Covers (PP43440)
PP43440 is the four-cover pillar post set for the Saturn Vue, 2003-2007. It costs $56.99, and the four covers are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA. One fitment row is listed: Saturn Vue 2003-2007, tagged 4-door, SUV.
Check that row against your paperwork. The Vue needs to be from 2003 through 2007 and registered as the four-door SUV. If either detail doesn't match, the listing doesn't cover your vehicle; call us before ordering instead of taking a chance.
This is the smallest of the Vue pillar sets linked here. PP43441 has six covers and PP43442 has ten, and PP43443 is a further pillar listing. Other linked Vue parts, each sold separately, include GC43440, LP43440, RD43440, SGR43440, ST43440, TH43441, TH43442 and WQ43440.
None of the pillar listings carry notes, post names or widths, so the galleries are how to compare. Count the shapes in each and match them to your Vue's posts. If the four here cover the posts you care about, order this page; if you'd like more of the posts dressed, look at the larger sets.
Quality Automotive Trims is happy to help on 877-752-3811. Mention PP43440 and your year, and we'll compare the galleries with you.
Each cover is decorative. It sits over a post beside the side glass, and the Saturn's doors, windows and seals continue as they are. Corrosion resistance comes from the 304 alloy itself, not a plated surface.
Fixing is by 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, one strip per cover, bonding straight onto the paint or trim the Vue's posts carry today. That means no drill, no screws and no panels to unclip. Before you begin, look up the working temperature range and the cure time on the Installation tab, and plan a day that fits them.
A sound bond needs a sound surface, so prepare carefully. Remove wax and polish. Repair chalky, crazed or lifting paint. Wash the posts with car soap, rinse them, and let them dry. Then wipe each with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths, moving to a clean fold until it stays clean. Check for dents at the same time; polished stainless shows any dip in the post beneath it.
Have car soap, a bucket, rubbing alcohol, lint-free cloths, painter's tape and a pencil ready. A helper standing back can judge whether each cover looks straight.
Wait for shade and a dry, calm day. Set the four out next to the gallery and call us if any is bent or missing. Holding a cover to the post its photo shows, with the liner on, shift it until the margin is even and outline it in painter's tape. Peel, seat it in the outline and press firmly along its length and both edges. Compare it with the photo before going on.
If a Vue cover won't sit flush, keep its liner on and ring 877-752-3811. After curing, wash the four with car soap and water and dry with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
