Product Description
Saturn Vue 2003-2007 Stainless Door Sill / Rocker Trim, 1.625" Wide, 4 Pieces (ST43440)
ST43440 is a four-piece set of polished stainless steel door sill / rocker trim for the 2003 through 2007 Saturn Vue SUV. The note gives the width as 1.625", and the included-items line repeats it: QAA's 4 piece stainless steel door sill - rocker trim, 1.625" width. That's all the record says about the pieces, so the photos show where they go.
What the name tells you
QAA files this under "Door Sill Rocker Trim," a category separate from its rocker panel kits. The record doesn't describe whether the four pieces sit on the sills inside the door openings or along the outside rocker area, or how long each piece is. Check the photos and call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 if the placement isn't clear.
Not the same as the TH rocker kits
QAA links two rocker panel kits for the Vue. TH43441 is a four-piece full kit, 5.5 - 6.5" tapered width, on the doors only, spanning from the bottom of the molding to the bottom of the door. TH43442 is a four-piece side molding insert kit w1.75. ST43440 is a separate part at 1.625" wide. Compare all three sets of photos before choosing.

Fitment
Saturn Vue, 4-door SUV, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Check the width first
Hold a ruler against the area shown in the photos on your Vue. If 1.625" leaves the flat surface you need, you're set; if not, call before ordering.
Sills see heavy use
Shoes, grit and moisture all hit this area. Clean it well: vacuum loose dirt, wash with soapy water, rinse, dry fully and wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Older paint that feels chalky should be cleaned up first, because tape won't grip a powdery surface.
Fitting four pieces
Match each piece to its spot using the photos, with liners on. Mark the ends with painter's tape. Then peel and press each firmly from one end to the other. Avoid stepping on the area or washing for a day.
Other Vue trim in the record
Pillar kits PP43440, PP43441, PP43442 and PP43443; GC43440 gas door cover trim; LP43440 plate bezel; RD43440 deck accent; WQ43440 wheel well accents installed with 3M adhesive, no black rubber gasket edging; and SGR43440 "VUE" logo decal (its record also carries a copied "HYBRID" note). Check each listing for its finish.
Care
Wipe grit off before it scratches the polish. Mild soap and a soft cloth; a non-abrasive polish restores haze.

Installation tips: Door Sill - Rocker Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
