Product Description
Saturn Vue 2003-2007 Polished Stainless License Plate Bezel (LP43440)
LP43440 is cataloged for the Saturn Vue 4-door SUV for model years 2003 through 2007, five years on a single row with no trim exclusions. It's a one-piece License Plate Bezel in 26-gauge 304 stainless steel, mirror polished and made in the USA, built to frame the plate area.
The listing doesn't give dimensions or mention any cutouts. That makes the product photos the reference. Before ordering, compare the bezel's outline with the area around your Vue's plate, including any lock, handle, emblem or lighting. If you notice something the photos don't show, Quality Automotive Trims can check it for you at 877-752-3811; have the SKU LP43440 ready.
Fitting on a Vue of this age
Mounting is 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, directly over the existing surface, so there's no drilling. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Since these SUVs were built between 2003 and 2007, spend a few minutes on the paint around the plate first: repair chips and lifting clear coat and remove adhesive left by old frames or stickers. Clean with soap and water, then rubbing alcohol. Dry-fit with the liner on, mark it with painter's tape, and press it home once you're happy. The Installation tab covers the steps and the temperature range.
Rear trim and a decal to ask about
RD43440 is a one-piece part named Rear Deck Accent, the other part cataloged for the back of the Vue; view its photos with this bezel's if you're considering both. SGR43440 is listed as an eight-piece "VUE" Logo Decal with Emblem, but its notes read Set of Two and "HYBRID" Logo Decal, which don't line up with the name or the piece count. That listing has been flagged, so call before ordering it.
Sides and pillars
ST43440 is a four-piece Door Sill - Rocker Trim at 1.625". Pillar post kits are listed with four, six and ten pieces as PP43440, PP43441 and PP43442. GC43440 is a one-piece gas door cover trim. TH43441, TH43442, WQ43440 and PP43443 are cross-listed by number only. Check each listing for its finish.
Beginning with the bezel
The bezel is the smallest job on this list, with one piece to place and nothing to align against a second part. Fitting it first lets you see polished stainless on your Vue, and how well the paint takes tape, before tackling a ten-piece pillar kit.
Year confirmation
Look at your records; anything from 2003 to 2007 on a Vue 4-door SUV is on the row.
After it's on
Refit the plate, snugging the screws without overtightening. If you use a plate frame, it's best to include it in the dry fit as well, so you know before the liner comes off that it won't sit over the bezel's edge. To clean, mild soap and water, then a soft towel. Keep scouring pads and gritty polishes away from the mirror face, since they leave fine scratches.

Installation tips: License Plate Bezel
- Unpack the piece and hold it in position to confirm the fit before mounting it.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Step back and check alignment before pressing along the full length of the piece.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
