Product Description
Saturn Aura 2007-2009 Eight-Cover Stainless Pillar Post Trim (PP47417)
PP47417 is the largest of the Saturn Aura pillar sets: eight polished covers in 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA, for $84.49. It's listed for 2007-2009, with one fitment row, Saturn Aura 2007-2009, tagged 4-door, Sedan.
Make sure your car is a four-door Aura sedan from one of those three years; your records give the year. Anything outside 2007 to 2009 falls outside the record, so contact us before you buy if that applies or you can't confirm it.
Two smaller Aura listings are linked, PP47415 with four covers and PP47416 with six. As with this one, they give no post names, widths or notes. To weigh them up, compare the galleries and count which posts gain a cover only in this eight-piece set.
If you're dressing more of the Aura, this record points to three further pieces. For the rear there's LP47415, a single license plate bezel. GC47415 is a single gas door cover. Lower down, TH47415 is an eight-piece rocker panel kit whose notes read "W/ trim crease" and "Spans from the bottom of the door UP to the specified width." Each of those has its own fitment tags, so check them on the item's page rather than assuming they match this one.
The Quality Automotive Trims number is 877-752-3811. Quote PP47417 and the model year and we'll work through the eight shapes together, post by post.
These covers are for looks. They frame posts around the Aura's side windows, and the doors, glass and seals carry on as normal. 304 stainless is corrosion-resistant through the metal, with no plating involved.
Each one mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape directly onto the paint or trim on the post today. You won't drill into the sedan or take off any panels. Consult the Installation tab for the temperature range and cure time.
The tape bonds only as well as the surface allows, so all eight posts need care. Strip wax and polish, and repair chalking, cracked or flaking paint. Wash with car soap, rinse and dry completely, then wipe each post with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloth, refolding until nothing more comes off. Check for dents by touch.
Before you start, line up a roll of painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, a bucket of soapy water and plenty of lint-free cloths. With eight pieces, a second person to check alignment is worth asking for.
Choose a still, dry day out of the sun. Set the eight beside the gallery and report anything damaged or missing. Number each post with painter's tape. Working through them in order with liners on, hold a cover to its post, move it until the gap at each edge matches and tape a frame round it. Peel, drop it into the frame and press firmly over the face and down both edges. Compare it with its photo before carrying on.
Should a cover lift or rock, leave the liner on, set it aside and phone 877-752-3811 instead of forcing it. Fully cured, the eight clean up with car soap and water and a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
