No drilling. Each cover mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape straight over the post's existing paint or trim, and no trim is removed from the sedan. The Installation tab gives the temperature range and the cure time, which is worth reading before you choose a day.
Prep. Lay out low-tack painter's tape, a pencil, rubbing alcohol, a bucket of car-soap water and several lint-free cloths. Strip wax and polish from all six posts. Repair any paint that's chalky, crazed or flaking, since the tape holds to that coat. Wash, rinse and dry, then wipe each post with rubbing alcohol, turning the cloth until a clean fold shows nothing. Run a fingertip along each post to check for dents.
Fitting. Choose shade and a dry, calm day. Lay the six out next to their photos and tell us straight away about any damage. Put a numbered strip of tape at each post. Keeping the liner on, hold the first cover in place, slide it until the reveal is even and outline it in tape. Peel, return it to the outline and press firmly along the length and both edges. Check it from a step back, making sure the gap still looks even, then fit the next.
