Next, clean. Wash the pillar faces, rinse and dry them. Wipe each with isopropyl alcohol and let it evaporate, and remove any wax or ceramic coating where tape will go.
Then map. Hold each cover in place with its liner on, line up the edges, and mark them with painter's tape. Pencil the position on each liner.
Finally, fit, two at a time. Peel, set the cover on its marks, and press firmly along its length and edges. Check the line before moving on.
