26 gauge 304 stainless steel with a polished finish, made in the USA. The shine is the steel itself, with no plating over it, so there's nothing to peel.
Mounting
On the 2019-2025 RAV4, the four covers mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape over the existing pillar surface; no drilling, no trim off. Check the Installation tab's temperature range and cure time.
Fitting four covers
- Choose a dry, mild day and somewhere shaded.
- Check the four covers against the photos; call if one is bent or missing.
- Wash the pillar faces with mild car soap, rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe each face with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth and let it evaporate.
- Remove any wax or ceramic coating where tape will sit.
- Check the four covers against the gallery before you clean anything.
- Dry-fit each with the liner on and mark its edges with painter's tape.
- Peel the liner, set the cover on its marks and press firmly along the length and edges.
- Press on another Rav4 cover, then look at it from a few feet away.
- Repeat for the last two.
If a cover won't seat, keep its liner on and phone 877-752-3811 rather than forcing it. After the cure time, wash the RAV4 with ordinary car soap and dry the covers with a soft towel.
A small tip to finish: start with the cover that's easiest to see from where you stand. Once it's right, it becomes the reference for the rest.
