Reading the two notes
An Upper Kit starts at the molding and runs down 5". The second note limits it lengthwise: it covers the stretch between the front and rear wheel wells, and no further. If you want coverage that continues past the wheel wells, this isn't that kit.

Material
On the 1990-1993 Accord coupe, six 5" strips of USA-made polished 26 gauge 304 stainless cover the span between the wheel wells, pressed on under the molding using 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. According to QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime without harm.
Measure from the molding
Put a strip of masking tape 5" below the molding's lower edge between the wheel wells. That's where the bottom of the trim will sit. If the line runs past the door bottom or onto anything fitted below, call 877-752-3811 with a photo.
Prep
- Wash the band under the molding and rinse.
- Clean off wax and polish using wax-and-grease remover.
- Repair chips, rust or lifting paint first.
- Wipe the Accord with isopropyl alcohol as each piece is fitted.
Six pieces
The record has no position for any of the six, so the photos decide. Sort them with the photos and label every liner.
Dry fit
Hold each piece up with painter's tape, top edge against the molding. Check the ends near the wheel wells and open the doors.
Bonding
Peel the liner a few inches at a time and press. Finish with firm pressure along the whole piece.
Pieces four to six
Measure the gaps once and hold them for every piece.
Conditions
Choose a mild, dry, shaded day; the Accord waits a day before washing.

Fit the first pieces, then step back and check that the lower edge runs straight before moving on.
