Material
Each of the six 9.125" Accord coupe pieces starts as polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel in the USA and bonds between molding and door bottom with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA says the tape will hold for a lifetime without damaging the Honda.
A wide band to prepare
Each piece covers more than nine inches of height, so a lot of paint sits under the tape. Wash the whole band, strip wax and polish with a wax-and-grease remover, repair chips or rust and let it cure, then wipe everything with isopropyl alcohol right before fitting.

Trial fit
Tape each piece in place with painter's tape: top edge on the molding, bottom edge on the door bottom. Open each door fully to check clearance.
Pressing down
Peel a section of liner, press across the full height, and continue. Go over the piece once more with firm pressure.

Keep the 9.125" pieces evenly spaced.

Fit the trim on a mild, dry day away from strong sun, then skip washing for a day.
