Laying the pieces
Begin with a rear corner. Tack the piece up on its backing with two small tabs of tape and look along it from behind the wheel, checking that its distance from the opening stays even all round and that both ends land where the photos show. Then peel only a couple of centimetres at a time, starting at the top of the arch, and press down with a fingertip, working along one leg and then the other. Take off the guide tape once the piece is bonded, and fit the other rear corner next.
Arrival and care
